As a proud Colorado native, I grew up in Douglas County, just 25 minutes southeast of Castle Rock. Can you believe there was once only one stoplight in Castle Rock? It’s wild how much things have changed!

I wanted to share a few quick details about my photography services available in the Castle Rock area. While I do have an in-home studio, my true passion lies in capturing the beauty of the great outdoors!

I absolutely love what I do! I strive to make your experience behind the camera as stress-free and enjoyable as possible. In fact, I often hear from clients that their photo sessions were way more FUN than they anticipated, and that just warms my heart!

So, you ask, What’s my portrait booking process?

Below you can see what happens from start to finish when you book with Leanna Slater Photography!

You first fill out a BOOKING form, by clicking on the 'LET’S CHAT!' above and select what type of session you want to schedule. Please note, that I cannot book you on the calendar until the session fee is paid, which is at the bottom of each booking form. After payment is received, I will send you a calendar invite with some great TIPS to prepare you for your session.

I will receive your message and respond with an email and schedule a call, or, my favorite, in-person coffee/tea meet and great! ;) I love getting to know my clients, so be ready to tell me ‘everything about youself,’ Well, maybe not everything!! haha

We will select your date and time. I only shoot one client per day. So you will have my complete attention! Ladies, here you may decide if you want to also schedule makeup.

Finally, the day comes, and we have a blast expressing your BEST SELF in front of my camera! Sessions are usually 1-3 hours, depending on the number of outfits and locations. As we finish up, we scroll through the images and get a glimpse of what we have created together.

I prepare the online Gallery for viewing your images (2 - 7-day prep). NOTE retouching/edits do not happen until you select your final images, but I do retouch a couple, so you can see my final product.

You make your Final Selection, either in person or via online Gallery (I only sell high res digital images with print release)

I will send the final invoice. Once paid, I will make final edits. Final images delivered (1-2 weeks) via an online link.
